Anonymous asked:is Halloween okay? obviously its not in the bible so i'm just wondering what your outlook on it is. i understand that some may use it as a wiccan holiday [[God bless them]] but for others its just a day to dress up and get candy. and i would think as long as you dont celebrate as a wiccan and as long as you dont dress up inappropriately, its okay. Cause its kind of like Christmas right? for some its Jesus's birth, for others its just a gift giving family day.

At our church we don’t hide from Halloween.  We have a Hallow Him night where we have food, games, live music, costume contest and games and prizes for all of the kids along with getting candies from all the different games.  We open it up to the public so everyone can have a fun safe alternative to Halloween.  Hallow Him is a great way for our church to give back to the community and to share the love of Jesus Christ.  God bless you!!! :):)
